Power Moonroof

I have a 91 ultra, the mounting screws came loose on the motor for the moonroof. After remounting the motor assembly I can not get it adjusted to open/close/vent properly. Can not find any adjustment procedure in the book I have! Can anyone tell me or direct me to adjustment procedure?
4/27 After messing with this for a few days I believe the white plastic gear and the green plastic gear are out of sync. This probably happened because along with the mounting screws falling out the screws that keep the thing together also were out or loose. That allowed the two halves to split so the gears were not engaged when the motor turned. There are markings on the green gear but I am not sure what to line them up with.
Can anyone advise?
