alarm install ideas?

I own a '95 3.1 v6 grand am. I just bought myself a PRESTIGE car alarm and I was just wondering if anyone has installed an alarm in a simalur year of grand am. And if you have any tricks of the trade I would be thankfull THANKS JOSH :smokin:

Yep. Use to sell Prestige alarms until I kept having major problems with them. The remote starters had gotten really bad. Most would even melt and about catch on fire!

Anyway, a '95 G-am is pretty easy to do an install on. I suggest either soldering all your connections or using 3m t-taps (not Scotchlocs). Just take your time to look through everything.

well the problem I am having is that the instructions dont tell me anything. I got the siren hoked up and power and ground but thats it. I dont understand the rest. I would be forever greatfull if you could explane in some detail. Like where to go to hook it up to the door locks, where to hook it to the trunk ect. With what I have hooked up the siren keeps going off but at a very low level. Thanks josh. :naughty:

Yes, go to www.bulldogsecurity.com Just make sure to test all the wiring before hooking it up. They aren't always correct!!!
