Hello,

New here on the forum but not the biggest novice you have ever met in car audio. I do, however, need some attention to this issue I have. Here are my specs -

Deck - Pioneer DEH-P6600

Components - Pioneer TS-C160R - 6.5" w/ 1" tweeter - rated 60W Nominal/250W Max - 4 Ohm

Rear - TS-D690R - 6X9" rated 80W Nominal/330W Max - 4 Ohm

Sub - (1) TS-W125C - rated 400W Nominal/800W Max - 4 Ohm *Maybe (2) later

Amps - ? (wanting Power Acoustik because they will be given to me)

Wiring - ALL Stinger components - HPM Series Digital Fuse Block, Ground, Dream Series RCA's and all wiring (4Ga. Wiring to Fuse Block, 8Ga. to Amp(s) and 4Ga. for Ground)

That is what I have ready to install. I have one problem .. what amps to get to maximize sound and usage of speakers in full watts without blowing them? I bought all the above but will be given the amplifiers. One catch, I will be given Power Acoustik amps. I have looked them over and if I had to choose, I like the new LT series.

Question, with the above hardware, what would be the best two LT series amps to get? I need (1) to appropriately power the 6.5" Components and the 6X9"'s and (1) for the Sub(s).

Please help me.

Thanks!!

Jeff P.

well your head unit is good, pioneer tends to lag a lil with mp3s but its ok, the speakers are good, im using the 6.5 ones right now, the treble n mids are really good, the bass coulda been better, and as for the 6x9 i've never heard them, but as far as pioneer goes, the highs n mids should also sound ok, and i suggest instead of buying 2 amps, buy one amp for both speakers (it'll cost the same anyways) find a 50 or 60 rms x 4 amp, which should be around $160-$220, depending on what brand, and as for the sub i've never heard pioneer subs, sorry can't help with that
