i live just north of Toronto Ontario Canada, and that's what i wake up to every morning. (well, actually i would wake up looking the other way, since that's my house in the picture...but you get the idea)

i'll get more pics of it when it's nice weather again, but it's supposed to rain all week.

btw, the goose comes to live on our pond every summer for the last 3 years. we've named him Ted.

if i had a pic, i'd show you my backyard, but i don't have any film....oh well..i need to clean it out...lots of leftover debris from last fall, and yard pickup isn't for another 3 weeks :sly:

yeah, the pond has THOUSANDS of minnows in it, as well as tadpoles, painted turtles, snapping turtles, leeches, and we get a visit from many geese and Blue Herons every year. as well, it was stocked with Bass just last year. we have yet to try to catch any though.

but you're right. the entire backyard turns into a veritable mosquito farm once it gets warmer.
