18"s on a p10

What about 18" on a p10?

On the same subject, is anyone out there have the following tire/rim specs on their p11?

215/40/18 with 40mm offset.

I am asking this because I need to ensure that it fits without having the tire rubbing the suspension or the wheel rubbing the brake pads. Can someone please advise if this will fit?

I imagine they would fit.:D Now you may have a little rubbing maybe, when you turn the wheel hard left/right. Might have to bend some of the fender up a little also, to keep the tires from hitting the inner wheel well. You shouldn't have any problems with the wheel hitting brakes or suspension though. If Civics, Sentras, and Accords can sit on 18's... why can't you?:o Just my pro's/con's.:bandit:

Now if you drop it a bit, this will help b/c the tires would lean in some. Now these ideas stated don't necessarily mean they will happen, but might.:smoka:

18" on Primera p10 can be done with the tires 215/35 18 but you will have to cut some of the back of. i have seen on and it lookes great but you have to lower it allot course it gets a little high

reasons I asked because someone placed a thread and didn't have body text to clarify the question. I was the first to reply the post....

anyway, I have a p11 (2002 G20) and I am prone to getting the 215/40/18. How much offset is required for no rubbing? The rim I selected is 40mm offset and this doesn't seem to be enough. If 215/40/18 gives me problems, I will go with the 215/40/17x7.5. Anyone has this tyre specs on their car? Also, how difficult will it be to bend the "fender" for the no rubbing situation?

Not to sure with the G20. I had to do this on my last car. A couple people in here have 18's on a P11 and they never posted problems.

I need confirmation from those who have 18s on their P11 before any action is taken. I don't think it is going to be a problem but I just want to reassure.

There's a member named NismoBoy or something that has 18's on his. Looks tight. Try to get a hold of him and he'll tell you all. I haven't seen him post in a while though.:smoka:

Thanks for the efforts boys. I just found out from Tire Rack site that the tires and rims specifications (215/40/18 with 40mm offset) that I am pursuing does fit with the 02 G20 Sport Package. I now can ride in peace :)

tight. Where are you getting them from? Tire Rack. www.wheelmax.com has some very, very, very good prices on their wheels, so I suggest you check them out before you go elsewhere. Just lookin out for my Geez.

yo yo yo...man its been a while...anyways...yeah i got 18x7.5 wheels with an 42mm offset, 215/40 rated tires and dropped on some eibach pro-kits, no rubbing whatsoever, good luck :sun:
