Nopi Race Wars in Petersburg VA

Well 2 days, 4 packs of ciggerettes, and a huge sunburn later, I have returned from my trip to Nopi Race Wars in the town of Petersburg, VA. Though the show was not as large as many others, the quality was amazing. I witnessed everything from girls jello wrestling to a Toyota Solara doing a 6.7 1/4 in the pro circuit to skinny-ass white boys (much like myself) rapping, and boy do I want more.
The trip down there was always the classic roadtrip. Loud music, too much soda, far more ciggerettes than any man needs, and the telling of jokes the entire way. We stopped at a shop near my friend's college called Coleman's Powersports to check out the new Hayabusa and several other bikes and found it to be a beautiful dealership. Hundreds of bikes and a knowledgable staff, if you're ever in the Falls Church area here in Virginia, give it a visit.
Upon arriving we stood in the horrendously long line, met new people, and did the regular car show talk. Entering they had the amateur racing on the 1/4 strip and we sat and watched a few runs and then departed to go meet up with a few affiliated teams that were there. A few hours later we went back for the pro-stock racing and saw amazing sites.
Lesson to be learned: Nopi Race Wars is the shit... never pass one up!
