d16 engine problem?

today i went out to start my car and it started, but it was stuttering and the exhaust was shaking around the cat. the check engine light also came on, i have no clue what is wrong and if anyone could help i would really appriciate it. also should i just take it to a repair shop to get a diagnostic test? thanks

well the car stopped making the noise but the check engine light is still on, anybody got any suggestions?

well if your exhaust was shaking... your o2 sensor might have come loose... get it elivated and check under the car for anything that looks out of place.. that's your best bet

well i went and had my car tested and the computer said that my #2 cylinder is missfireing, so i bought 4 new spark plugs and installed them today. i guess i still won't know if everything is ok until i have it checked again. thanks for your help delerious.
