I need some advice for my new project =>

I will buy some nice rims and create a nice wing etcetera. But I would like some advice of you guys about the engine. Which donorkit should I use???
I've thought about it already. I would like a 4 cylinder... Not much choice left. The engine which I've seen at hlj is way to expensive for me so... Scratchbuilding everything??? What would you do if you were me???

maybe I'm stupid...but how would a civic si engine come out...I know it's not a 4 cyl, but I think it's pretty good. IMO Revell seams to usually have better engines.

I don't know about your modeling skills, but building something from scratch is always an interesting experience. I say go with the scratch option. Later you can always buy new engine or use that 4-cilinder one :)
Nice choice with the kit though ;)

No matter what you do you will have to do considerable scratchbuilding to make the engine look convincing. If you plan to use the Revell engine, about all you'll be able to use is the block and that will even take some considerable modification. The engine in the S2000 doesn't look anything at all like any other Honda motor, or any other fourbanger I can think of. Unfortunately, I think either forking over the cash for that pricey Sakatsu set or scratchbuilding the engine will be about your only options here if you want to make it look factory.

Well I think it's quiet clear to me now. Thanks guys. It's gonna be a Civic Si engine. Off course with the needfull scratchbuilding :grinno: Does anyone have a number or a code of this kit??? It will be easier to find for me... Thanks again guys!!! Will show the result in a nice Progress Thread.
