Help me find a vid

Last night i Street raced a yellow ITR. He filmed it with his buddy i guess. Some day it should come down throught the grape vine. It should be a good addition to the af video.

This happened with me last summer with a silver WRX. Never been able to find it anywhere....Guess most people just show it off to friends.

Not trying to be an asshole but...who would want to see that race?

Well of course i jumjped ahead squaling the tires through 1st, and pulled about 3-4 carlenghts ahead, then he realed me in quickly on the top end. I wasnt expecting to win. But i also did race a tib b4 that and barely lost. I didnt launch at all just put the pedal down at about 5mph. Lost 3 races in a row about 5 minutes of total racing.

Wow...the ecotec is a good engine I though. I know I had a REAL hard time out running them [when i was stock] and that was 200hp and 220tq.

Yea, but that was just for shits and giggles. We will race again next weekend with a camra. Then it will be for real.

i used to work for gm and the problems that brand new cars had wasent even funny they are made so poorly and they are cheap, same interior for the past like 9 years in the cavy, what do you drive domestic ricer?

Oh the interior was changed slightly for the 03-04 years. Ive fixed every problem with my car, exept for the poor shifting and creak in my door, when i have the speakers on loud.

Wow. Your quite opinionated from your posts that I have read. Someone could just as easily say that Hondas are garbage, and in fact many people on this board have voiced that. At least try to be more civil.

i like camaro's, vette's, all the old muscle, and a few trucks, but i dont see how you can agree that a cavalier is built with more quality than a civic hell even a lancer or eclipse, all you have to do is sit in either one and you can feel the cheap ass plastic interior of the cavalier that hasent been changed since god knows when its horrible

i mean gm does do cheap money saving things for them, hell the interior of an escalade is the same as a suburban, would you want to pay thousands more for a caddy with the same interior as a suburban but with some wood trim?

thats why they are making the cobalt (pretty much redefining it and tuning it) yeah some things in the past weren't that great. As you mentioned the cost cutting sucks, I read in a car and driver review they used the impala steering wheel in the brand new vette.

I've seen some cavaliers put some miles down. You don't want to be like everyone else thats why theres after market.

And the same engine in the 00+ Monte Carlos is the same as in the Impala, GP, Regal, Grand National and many others. Its just the way things work now. Every car within a company borrows things from other cars made within that same company. Whether they make it obvious or not - be it a platform, engine, steering wheel, or headlight bulb.

your right but, gm does it so obvious and their cars are just made like crap, the interior feel of the j bodies and noises coming from brand new cars its just....well all i can say is new gm cars suck...thats my opinion like it or not

and its not like im just saying it out of the blue, i used to work for a gm dealership and i was around them all day long
