I have been working on this kit for the last 2 weekends
http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=500/64091Audi90box.jpg
This is the 1st modification I am doing so I spent most of the time thinking about how I want it to look like. Luckily I have Subway as my advisor.
This is what I have done to it so far.
Lowered the rear bumper and added side skirts.
http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=500/64091Audi90_01.jpg

The front bumper looks too low so iI will raise it by 1~2mm. I will also enlarge the lower air intake. I think that's how it is called.

Looking good so far.

I've never seen modified Audi 90, so this project quickened my interest so much. I believe that is going to be remarkable example, keep it up dude!

um, just gonna pick at the title of the thread for a bit...

it's quite a 'serious' typo.
v20 and 20v are definitely not the same thing.
unless of course you really are putting a v20 in there!

COOL!
that really is a cool project!

edit: maybe make the typical s2 bodykit:

Really nice job so far

I've never seen any on Af but it's the kind of car who have a big 'potential' for modifications. Can't wait to see it finished :)

Here you will find some ideas for bodykits:

oh...sorry that you didn't knew that, thats an audi 80 RS2, a project between audi and porsche; that's why the frontbumper remembers the porsche 964, wheels brakes and mirrors are from that porsche,
too. Horsepower was something around 300 ps

Thanks everyone. I am glad you like it.

deedlit. Thanks for the links. :sunglasse

Orion37170. No wonder it reminded me of some car. I just could not tell what it was.

Hiroboy. That's a Fujimi kit made in 1989. I think it is OOP. The model number is 03223.

I tore down the 1st version. It looked boring after seeing all the pics you all posted.
This is how it looks like now. Still needs some touch up.
By the way, it is a merger of all the ideas I have seen. I hope you like it.

The weather is not cooperating so I can not paint the exterior.
The interior is done. Nothing interesting so I am not posting it.
The stock wheel and exhaust are on the left. :disappoin
I will probably replace them with Ken Style Gell Ballad 18inch and custom made exhaust. Unless there are better ideas.http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=500/64091Audi90_06.jpg

New rims and exhaust are a good idea, it should look cool. Good choice.

Hey Cychalen~
It looks great

Could you tell me how to make an exhaust like yours ??

Hey Cychalen~
It looks great

Could you tell me how to make an exhaust like yours ??

Glad to see you back.
The exhaust is easy. I just used Tamiya clear plastic beams pipe 8mm for the outer cylinder and 5mm for the inner cylinder.
I don't know the brand of the paint. It comes in a little glass jar with a white cap. There is nothing written on it. I got it at the LHS. No Alclad II shine, but I am satisfied with the result.

Looks good, but please don't use such an oversized muffler for this Audi, here are typical mufflers for German tuners:

This was the 1st time I used Mr. Hobby paint, primer and thinner. Painting did not go well as you can see. I am going to sand it down and repaint it. I am used to Tamiya stuff.
Here is a picture for those who are still interested.

I will move on to my next model Silvia Autech Version K's MF-T. (That is a long name for a car) and put this aside for a while.

Another solution is to squash a metallic tube until obtaining that made oval form... you must use pliers or a screw of bank, with precaution of not scratching the tube or repairing it later.

Screw of bank?? :uhoh:
