I was just wondering if anyone knew how to remove the stock stereo from the 97 dodge stratus sedan ES. I've finished wiring most of my car for installing my subs and amp but I can't seem to find a way to get the deck out it seems almost impervious to all my attacks of staring at it and going...... "Shit!"
Thanks for any help guys, i wanna have these in by monday

Good luck, I posted a similar question over a week ago, with no replies. I thought these forums were here to help people. If you get any information please pass it on to me and I'll do the same for you.

Hey,
To remove the radio just have to pop of the trim piece thats around the radio itself. Just use a screwdrver and insert it between the trim and the dash. The piece will pop off. Sometimes you will have to pull it off. Then there are two screws in the radio that you have to remove. One is in the top passenger side and the other is on the bottom driver side. Unscrew those and and pull it out.
