radar detector into ignition

how can i wire my cobra radar dectector into the ignition of my 98 blazer, so that when i turn the key to start it, my radar dectector turns on.

You should be able to connect it to either an orange or brown wire under your steering column, should be in the same harness with a yellow, white, two reds, and maybe a pink

Well;
I would simply go to your fuse box, get a 12 volt tester. turn key off, check and see what fuses are dead, then turn key on and see what one are hot with the key on. find one that comes on only with the key is in the started position and go off when you shut your key off. thus,push the red wire into the fuse slot,plug fuse back into slot.take your black wire and ground it to a grounded screw nearby. I have a 99-S10 blazer, and this is what i done, very simple and easy,if you have a sigerate lighter plug on the cord, just cut the plug off or get a wire that dont have the sig plug on it
