Timing Belt Replacement

On this RAV4 the aftermarket replacement timing belt fits slightly loose. When the tensioner is adjusted all the way tight, the belt still has a little more give than i usually see in timing belt relacement. Is this normal or will a Toyota timing belt fit tighter?

Most likely the Toyota belt will fit better. I have seen some aftermarket belts that are loose.
