No, I have the control arms already. I'm looking for info. for the actual replacement, or some advice from someone that has done it before.

wasnt that covered under the recall? if you havent checked yet call Mitsu with your VIN # and see if its been done on your car, if not take your parts back and have Mitsu replace them for free!

I had mine done under recall. Mine is a 97 GS-T. Make sure you have the VIN when you call.

sweet... my motors blew a while ago, but i like throwing the top back and forth. takes like 2 seconds instead of however long it used to take...

Wait....are you talking about the lower control arms or the control arms on the top??? The lower control arms are a recall, well actually the ball joints are the recall they just seem to replace the entire lower control arms...the convertible top control arms (or whatever you call them) that bend on the top are just a TSB. Sorry if I confused anyone

those arms on the convertible top are cheap as hell. They are the only reason i'd prefer a hardtop over a spyder... which i don't.

This may be helpful....It is the TSB for the convertible top "stack control links" (I guess that's what they are called). I don't have access to the site, because I'm not a paying member, but you should be able to call Mitsubishi and give them the TSB #. I would think they would fax/send you a copy of the TSB. This is what it says..." THIS BULLETIN CONTAINS PROCEDURES FOR PREVENTING AND REPAIRING BENT TOP STACK CONTROL LINKS. *TT"
