Hey guys, just got my first civic... 1990 hatch

I'm Not sure what trim the car is.. I know its 1 1990, with 4-spd man.. Red with black bumpers

So far its got 17" 5Zigen copse rims, and 5Zigen mufler.. nice tinted windows, and filled with toys from sony... it only cost me 1500, and the car seems to be in good shape.

car def needs new seats....

oh yea, your probly gonna want to get Si seats (88-91) if you havent seen them yet, do it. They are excellent seats, look great and feel comfortable. they were also designed by recaro. look into it.

DAM, just went lookin over the engine, and pulled the plug out of #3, and oh man, theres like 2 inches of oil in there... Wonder how much of a problem thats gonna be..What is that any way, bad seal??

Now another question, what do I do with my 92 accord???

sell the accord and buy your self a b16 motor from a civic si or del sol. at least it sounds good to me

Basically, the lowest model of civic, not lowest as in it sucks, but lowest as in, no power windows, no power locks, not too sure about power steering, I believe the STD (standard, not a disease) is the lightest of all the civics, so great for modding and makin into a quick car. Correct me if I'm wrong, the weight thing might apply for the dx... I cant recall.

ya, my std hatch without the system in it weighs only 2070lbs

It's def gotta be the lowest, no power anything, no power steering, thank god, it got a AC.. No v-tec, red body, with black bumpers, AND a daam 4-spd !!! but I love it.. i wanna get soome pix up on it soon

LOL I believe that the passenger side mirror was actually a factory option on the std for that year :screwy: . I know my 88 dx hatch did not have the mirror either.

That would be wierd not having a passenger side mirror.

my friend tommy has a 72 dodge dart that doesnt have a passenger side mirror and his dads superbee doesnt have one either. Back in those days they only has 2 lane roads so they never needed them.
