91 Eclipse gs 1.8l

I am new to owning an eclipse. Any help would be tremenously helpful..
I have a 91 gs 1.8l with blown engine. 5spd manual trans

I was wondering what i can put back into it besides the 1.8 it has a vin code of T i would like to get as big as engine i can to fit into there. The work isnt that big of a problem as i have been around cars most my life. Thank you in advance for any help offered..

I have the exact same problem. My engine still runs but i need a new one. I've only seen stuff about chevy engines and all of them run on carburators and i want an engine that uses an intake manifold. and i just heard that i'll probably need new axels and a new tramission
