wondering if anyone with 3rd gen integra or any other car, do a 9005 bulb conversion for their low beams. it's 65w compared to the 55w regular, it's a little higher.
seems really easy, but is it safe?
any pics of night time?

Iv done it but no sigificant difference in lighting. Do it but dont use the bulbs that have the blue tent. They will lessen the output of the light. Its like putting on sunglasses.

Sorry to interject, but why change the type of bulbs? I have HID LOOKING bulbs but I didn't need to change from an H1 or H3 ... Just curious...

yeah i heard not to use blue tint bulbs either, so i'll stay away from them. i'm sad to hear that it made little change for you, because i was hoping for better lighting without going to real HIDs.

the HB3 9005 bulb is more brighter than the 9006 lowbeam bulb. But I don't want those expensive 80w bulbs because I have stock wiring harness. That's why i was thinking about the 9005 HB3 65 watt bulb conversion.
Here's a link to find out more and has pics.

i'm having trouble deciding whether the mod is worth it?
