88 Astro Blues

My 88 Astro is failing me. Please help.

400,+ Km's. v 6 4.3

Blowing white smoke
Black Smoke
Carbon out the tail pipe, awful smelling exhaust
Fouled no. 1 sparkplug - ash buildup and oil
Smell of pre cat converter exhaust in cabin
High idle on startup
Highway driving - Fine at first then bucks, spark knock on flat grade, white smoke, loss of power, stuck at roadside for a few minutes then restart and carry on.
Recently - vibration starts at 60 kms, engine spark knocks, white smoke, loss of power. :banghead:
Worth the repairs at this stage? Simple solution: revalve? Head gasket?
Scrap Yard?

New engine oughtta do the trick ;)
Judging by the symptoms:Blown head gasket/cracked head, bad mixture controls/sensors/internal oil leaks,exhaust leaks,intake/vaccum leaks, etc.
Sounds like yours is a dead soldier, my friend...
