Low Idle

Could someone please give me advise. I recently purchased a 93 Metro Convertible with 93000 miles. This car has been well taken care of and maintance was done on a regular basis. I have 1 problem. When the car is warmed up and I am at a complete stop the idle drops very low and the car shakes. I've taken it to a Chevy dealer and I was told no codes were showing and it probably is from the car being old. Thats what the mechanic told me. I don't believe it. The car never stalls but I find myself stepping on the gas pedal slightly at a stop just so the car doesnt shake. By the way it is a manual trans. A tune up has been done recently but the problem is still present. Any suggestions or advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

There's an idle adjust screw on the intake. It's under the "flange" where the air filter attaches, on the drivers side, toward the back. I don't have a picture, but it's not too hard to find. Turn that about a half turn to the left, and you should be good.
