94 cav won't start

i bought a 94 cav without hearing it run. price was right. had no starter and i was told that it had a blown head gasket. i put new starter in car.. it turns over but won't fire.. any ideas???? i have spark and the fuel pump sounds like it is working. where should i start next??

If you have spark at the plugs you could try a fuel pressure guage to make sure it is getting to the injectors.

Get ya a noid light and check to see if yer injectors are working.
