Here is another car I've been working on, an '87 Buick Grand Naional. Painted it with Rust-Oleum Black Night Metallic. Big 11oz can of spray for only $5.28 at Walmart.
I have to finish the engine, V-6 Supercharger (w00w00!) and do all the trim but it's coming along well.

This is a fun model for me to build. I hope you enjoy the pics.

Ah! My bad. Turbo is right. I use the same primer I use on my 1:1, Seymour ("The Inventor of Aerosol Spray Paint") Light Gray. About $5. at your finer auto stores.
Thanks.

That thing is nice. The paint looks kinda green to me but I'm a fan of green cars anyways so :sunglasse . Just one problem how is the box still in shrink wrap?

Nice GN.
I am working on one too.
Mine will just be black.
Nothing fancy, not even taking time to get rid of imperfections on the engine or paint it. I am just focusing on the body (sand, prime, paint, cut/polish, wax). Going for a nice high gloss black and will spend some time on making the chrome wheels look more realistic.
Hopefully I will have some picts up next week.
I really like the GNs.
One of the scariest looking cars ever made. (esp. with mild lowering) :22yikes:

Thanks Byron! I think so too. A local Buick dealer is a friend of mine and I got to drive the very last Grand National ever made, it was a very fun ride

Thanks Tommy. Green? Must be the lighting. Soon as it stops raining I'll get some outside shots. It looks more gray than black to me so far.
When I open my boxes, I exacto them from the bottom so the box cover stays protected. I'm sell them on ebay :) It's hard to believe that I can get $3.00+ for AN EMPTY BOX! People are stupid.
Mine will just be black.

Black is right, I just wanted to get tricky and try out this Rust-Oleum paint on her. I agree with you on about the 'Fear Factor'. It's scary in the rear view for sure. Not as much as my 1:1 black '00 Crown Vic, but scary :) I hope your GN comes out well. I look forward to seeing it. Thanks.
Thanks ol'dude, I'm glad you like it.
