another kill (damm i need to cut back)

well i got another kill today.. this time its a little more worth talking about, it was a 98 celica, with intake and exhaust..

i turn out of a parking lot and mistakingly cut off the celica, so i pull off in front of him and let off on the gas in second and my by-pass sounds, immadetly hes on my bumper. so he follows me all the time i just keep the car in 2nd and let my boost build and let off and let my by-pass sound, i did this lke 3 times, so we reach up at the light, hes to the left side of me, so the light turns green, and i let him take off a little on me maybe 1/2 car lenght, then i drop the car in low n pull off around 2300 i make 6psi, then i hit like 3500 and i make my 10psi and start to peel my tires in first whille driving :icon16: by tihs time we are head to head again, i shift it into 2nd and i gain 1/2 car lengt and keep pulling untill 70ish by now im about 2 1/2 cars infront of him so i put it in N and cost down back onto the next light... he pulls up next to me and says "WOW wat u got in there?" i reply "i have turbo" he like "what stage" im thinking to my self hahahah so i reply "no stage about a .55 a/r ihi rb5 turbo" he like wow all i have is intake and exhaust.. by now the light turns green and i pull off and let off on the gass 1 last time so he can hear my by-pass and roll away nicely..

yea its been a good run so far, it wasn't baged tho.. my next victum is hopefully gona be a integra ls or a civic si thats what im look for next..

Man if I saw a probe pull up next to me on teh streets I wouldn't think twice, sounds like a great sleeper to me, 'sept for maybe that boost heh, nice kill.

the only thing that may give me away is my apex-i stecker on my rear bumper..

well this weekend im gona spray my rims black. any comments on this? good idea or not?

I had sprayed rims on my bird, it actually helped the looks alot.

i didnt re-build anything, just the turbo.. my motor is stock with 157k on it and still going strong as ever, side note: i just painted my rims gunmetal with duipoint graphite wheel paint and it came out sooo nice it looks factory.. i recomend this paint to anyone who wants a cheap gunmetal looking rims, it only cost $40 and 4hr of work but omg is it great im goning to try posting pic when i upload them into my cpu..

turbo if you want to meet up one day and give it a run just for fun, i dont' mind. that is as soon as i fix this stupid clutch slave cylinder problem. my clutch pedal sank to the floor board last night when i was on the highway, and my slave cylinder was bad. so now i gotta go change the part. but beware with the stuff i did to the car i should be close to 250whp. but i'll run you just for fun :iceslolan

low boost man low boost plz.. haha it will be fun but beware my new gunmetal painted rims adds like 25+hp and the apex-i sticker is another 10hp.. so i would watch out if i was you.. muahahhaah lolz..

i know you gota probe but why u gona look for a Civic Si? I mean it sounds like your car is fast enough why dont u start lookin for a WRX? i mean you got turbo so unless the Si has turbo thats not gona be much of a race. Even try to find a Prelude SH or Integra Type R. The Intergra ls isnt that fast really. with mods it can be but its not even VTEC. If your cars that fast you should try to find a 3000 GT VR4. That would be a test for ya. But for real tho good kill and im not tryin to be a buster. Just tryin to get ya to beat some bigger and more beefed up cars. Im killin Celicas, Integras and Civics all day too. Keep up the good racin tho and try not to rag it to much so u can keep that motor. (unless you plan to get a bigger motor for it. im not sure how the motors are for probes)

well turbo2nr's probe is the first gen probes that came from the factory with a single cam 2.2 liter turbo. that car was rated at like 140hp. and his is a slush box. the 5 speed from what i was told by turbo2nr was that it was a low 15 second car. but i would hardly imagine turbo2nr's car to be quick enough to take on a v-tec honda or even other turbo cars. i'm goin to meet up with him today. he wants to run me for the hell of it. so i'll post his defeat when we finally get a chance to run.

yea it should be a nice kill ill get my ass handed to me but what the hell it all in fun.. yea my car isnt that qucik rember not everything turbo is quick.. im estimating my self to have about 130whp if im lucky and 160ft/lb@ wheels if im lucky so im not that fast. i give my self a hi 15sec car if even that good.. but its all fun this is the car that im starting out with and learning on.. from here ill move on up.. everyone has to start somewhere just glad is not a honda! lolz

oh i see. i thought it woulda been faster. i figured it was the first gen i just thought ur mods woulda lowered your time a good bit. its all good tho. just have fun and save up ur money and you'll be able to mess wit the DOHC cars.

it did help my time alot and my throttle response is great now.. but my car is a sohc i think it is fast for a soch i still beat lots of hedohc cars outthere.. but yea i got to do a lil more mods..
