ok well ive been looking into the option of possibly trading my integra for a 92-93 gs-r. what do you guys think if a dealer is offering one for 4950 thats red. has 144k mi. and mine is GS auto. 127k mi. red has intake exhaust. what do you think i could get on a trade?

oh and what all would be involved in the trade since i still have a part of a loan for my GS

you might want to turn you car to stcok and get a better trade in value. kbb might be accurate on what the dealer will give you and if you still owe on your current car I think you can have the lein transferred over to the new car. If you got the money and get a decent trade get the gsr it would be worth it

About 6 months ago I went into a dealership to see what i could get for my car because i was thinking about getting a GSX. The salesman made a list of all my mods and looked over my car. Then he came back and told me he would give me $1,500 for my car. I laughed at him and then left. Sure my car has high miles, But the engine only has around 47,000 miles. Dealers rip you off all the time.

actually, the customer is the biggest crook in the car buisness. Trust me, I manage a dealership. Customers think that their cars are worth gold.

That may be true for some, But when the LOW blue book is more than the dealer is willing to give you then that is a joke. That also reminds me of when I traded in an old cutlass supreme for $1,750 and then seen it for sale a week later for $3,495. The sales guy even told my the dealership won't give you shit for aftermarket parts. I understand that sales poeple are trying to earn a living and all, But i payed more than $1,500 for my engine alone.

yea but us here don't care what you have in your car aftermarket. I would rather have an all original car and original motor.

About blue book prices. HAHA, blue book is a joke. Blue book is for pepole that have no clue. We sell all of our cars for below blue book. I can't go and give you blue book when Im selling them below that.

on another note, you shouldnt dump a boat load of money into a car than expect to get it back when you sell the car. It's your hobby and that comes with a price tag.

Your are absolutely right, Maybe the car lots around here are different that where you live. If your prices are as good as what you say then the next time i buy a car i'm comming to you.
