Read this, it shows how dumb cops are or is it just the laws?

I was driving to Mc. Donalds late one nite, when i noticed a Blaine police car fallowing me from my exit at 35w. I made sure to fallow the rules, and well basically i watched my ass. He seemed to go strait through the intersection as i took a right turn for my double bacon cheeseburger. I heavy accelerated to some extent, to see that dam cop pull a u-e in the intersection and u know the rest. As he came up to me and asked for my license and proof of insurance, he asked, "do you know why i pulled you over?" i said no of course, and he laid it on me like i owed him child support. Heavy acceleration, white turn signals, stuff hanging from my rearview mirror, neon lights, and my favorite waiting to long to put on my turn signals before turning. As he walked back to his car to run my stuff i started to laugh uncontrolably. I managed to calm myself down by realizing i still hadent gotten my Mc. D's. I prolly waited about 30 minutes there and i ended up not even getting a ticket. I was actually mad that i didnt get a ticket after all that. Anyways the moral of my story is that laws are really dumb for cars and that rice burners get to much crap from the police. "ricers for life"~TJ FLOW.

we get crap cause most of us drive likes asses
we are young with nice cars
we are easy targets
i'd pull us over to if i was a cop
but ur right its annoying i have has my share with my old car "ticket magnet" my best ticket was one for the car being to low - the cop actually got out a ruler and measured my clearance and wrote me a ticket - i framed it!!!

Yeah i know, you guys are right, and i know most laws are put forth to help us be safer on the roads, but just certain laws are fu*kin retarded, like the white blinkers, what harm does that do anyone, and loud exhausts dont bother anyone unless they are trying to sleep, and neons just plain look cool, it wouldnt distract me, but again i can see how it could distract other drivers and older folks on the roads. It sucks being picked on for our cars, its like rice racer discrimination, lol.

In my area there are a few cops that like my car and are cool with me so they dont bug me. But I am going to school to be a Officer so knowing what i do about the import scene there are alot of cars i would pull over. Just knowing the ins and outs of racing and all that goes on when the lights go down. wow that sounded kinda cool, ok thats my last beer i promise.

you guys gotta keep in mind the well being of the public. Be it lights as a distraction (or red and/or blue = impersonating an emergency vehicle = felony), white turn signals (sometimes too bright, not to mention white is designated as the color for reverse), these are all things they do to keep streets safer. Do they make sense, not always, but remember, if they let you off, or just give you a fix it ticket to fix your lights, remember, if they could've just as easily nailed for 75 in a 50, you're getting off light. Some cops do give slack, and they're way cool, but remember, they're just doing their job. I've seen my fair share of v8 mustangs, camaros, and vettes pulled over for stuff too. Fair is fair. But above all, if you wanna be let go, try the honesty approach. Always give them what they want, and be respectful (i.e. lose that "bad cop, no donut" sticker) and it'll make things a lot easier. Rememberthis as well, driving is a privelage, not a right.

yes speed limits all over US should be raised 10mph atleast i member reading somewhere all about the reasons but the things the article said were back in the 50s when limits and the rules to set speedlimits came out cars had shitty brakes *very few if any had disks* turned like the boats they were and had 0-60 time that would be long enough for me to shave my nuts.
There are places that put lower then legal limits up due to the fact that if you get pulled over and dont say anything or fight it you'll get tickets town next to mine is infamous for that no one drives through there and all the cops are dicks.

and whats going to stop them from doing 10 over that limit? The only way to get people to go slower is lower the speed limit and then enforce it like there is no tomorrow so people get the idea

my highway speeds are usually 10-20 over..but that just me...i like driving fast....and i'm not talking about driving fast and driving stupid

itz a given that all hondas are black balled by cops....that's just a given...can u change it...no...so u have to deal withit until a new car fad come arounds.....wait a lil bit for people to give up their hondas for 240's and start tryin to drift on public roads

so do I, I usually go anywhere between 5-20 mph over depending on what the limit is where I am, but usually maintain a constant speed of 80 mph on the freeway. If they raised the speed limits, I know that I for one would still go over, cause you know you can get away with going a little bit over.

And about the 240's, it's already happened unfortunately...I guess one good thing that comes of it is all the ricers are going to get RWD cars now and try to make them drift cars with really bad negative camber and Hondas won't be so much the target anymore.

did i say we should go slower?
maybe teaching people to drive better could help
using the AutoBahn as my point speeds are normally over 100mph in places sometimes you'll get that guy in a lambo doing 200mph. But compare any US high way to that wrecks are so much lower.
Forcing crappy drivers not to speed wont help leting good drivers go how fast they feel they need/want to go works better.

yea game set and match there cause i was away to sleep :disappoin

and how would raising the speed limit for those crappy drivers help any??? That's a great idea, lets allow those shitty drivers to go even faster so they cause more accidents

maybe teaching people to drive better could help

did you miss this part?
If we taught the crappy drivers how to drive then we won't have the problem of people driving like crap and wrecking at the speeds they do now.
crappy drivers will find a way to wreck at 10-1000000000000mph
In US the hardest part to get a licence is waiting. Over in Germany you need to know so much more and basic stuff like CPR and how to change a tire.
I support increasing what is needed to pass a drivers test.
Better drivers = safer roads.
and if the roads are safer due to drivers skills then there is no reason to increase the speed limits.

tell me how you would teach them to drive better? Most bad drivers have bad habits which all people get over time.

Do you drive with only one hand on the steering wheel at times? Most people do, that's a bad habit because you don't have complete control over the vehicle.

I'd like to see you get rid of everyone's bad habits and make them good drivers. No class is going to be able to keep people from developing bad driving habits.

i'll stick to my same example of Germany they have things on the test that look like shit outta skip barber go round blind turn somthings there hit it you fail. you learn fast that way it takes alot more time and effort to get a lisnce there if you teach someone good habits they wont do stupid shit like talk on cell phones eat shave while driving etc.

Some times i have to owning a stick shift car and i hate to shift gears with my cock. hehe. 2 wheels on hand is something i 've learned from having good driving teacher and renforeced by doing it long time having a good habit like that built in is whats needed.

I never said i'd magicly remove all bad drivers habits. But if we start teaching well now the next gen might have much safer roads and heck we jump up speed limits we'll weed out the bad ones quickly :evillol:

I agree, the teaching needs to be better but what about the old people. They drive like sh*t where im from (NE). You can't go down the road without seeing an old @$$ person driving 15 under swerving around being a terible driver. One time i was eating in the lot of Taco Bell and an old guy came driving in with a flat tire (well actualy there was almost no tire because he drove it so long with it flat he had shredded it into pieces) he parked for a bit with the drivethru on his direct right. he had to turn real sharp to turn in there but didn't quite make it (nailed a curb with the rim) he then had to turn sharp left but ended up going up onto the curb then backed up and went into the drivethru. I sat there eating and waiting thinking that he was going to come out of the drive thru but as i was leaving the guy was high centered on the hill by the curb (he was lined up as if he were going to go straight down the drive thru road but was further back from the order box) it was hilarious. (I hope i explained it good enough) I was laughin my @$$ off.
There was this one other time i got pulled over by a cop and he came up and asked for liscense and registration after i gave it to him he said something was wrong because he ran my plates and it pulled up a 92 green honda accord when i have a white 99 civic. The cop just handed me my sh*t back and walked back to his car with a red embarassed face. Honest mistake but i was still laughin my ass off.
