How you doin? My name is Jason and i'm new to the website. I have a question about engines in my 2000 tahoe Z71. Its 98% stock and i recently took it offroad which was a blast, and it had enough power to do what i told it to, but i'm a nut about low end torque and i was thinking about getting a larger engine. I wasn't sure if that was the best route to go or if i should stick with the 5.8 i have right now and make modifications. It has about 60k miles on it. It has stock rims and tires, no lift. Any input would be appreciated

By putting in a new engine you could probably match the amount you paid for the vehicle. Go with the mods. or buy a four wheeler (or two or three) with the money instead.
