1998 GMC Remote Vehicle Security System

I have the vss-350 remote security system. I recently replaced my battery cables and am now unable to start my vehicle without using the kill switch. I tried reprogramming my system by reading the booklet which stated to hold the kill switch down while the ignition is on for 15 seconds to get a chirp but that does not work. Please I need your help!!!

Can't help you much on this one. The unit you have is one of those crap systems from Code Alarm. The only thing I could tell you is to unplug the harness on the alarm, plug it back in, then try it again.
