Thoughts on a track.

To everyone that has, or hasn't heard.
A proposed NASCAR track is being planned for construction in a couple years if eveything goes through.
I believe it would be just outside of either Centrailia or just outside Yelm (perfect spots if you ask me).
This could bring in more than 200 million dollars to the local economy a year.
This could also make the podunk hick population skyrocket.
This track would most likely include besides the NASCAR track, a autocross course, a advanced driving school, car shows, D1 tour competitions, ect.
Thoughts on whether or not it should be built.
Thoughts on what else it needs, or whatever. :feedback:

Well if it does in fact get built, we'll just have to take the good with the bad I guess.
A dirt track would be fun to, oldblue you know what I'm talking about.

All Sounds good to me. Put in a 1/4 mile NHRA, whatever, drag strip and it would be even better!! :evillol: Might get some idiots off the roads and on the track. Hey watch the podunk hick comments please! It's uncalled for...really! :nono:
Later!

Yall say podunk hick like it's a bad thing  I got some friends that would be proud of that title :screwy: Anyway, a 1/4 would be sick, and it'd be nice if they put together shows and races so all different kinds of cars can come out & show, then show what there really about on the track. All I can see is a new car town being born near the track, a place for all of us to waste some summer time. It'd be nice to have Pro shops around to, so when you get Ideas from what ya see, ya can just og next dore and buy it.
It'd totally be down for a driving school too... and I know a bunch of my friends would be. I guess I've said enough.
Is there a sight or something with the plans on it?

There's a few potential sites so far.
One down near Chehalis.
Another in the Rainier/Yelm area.
And the other one is up near Tacoma I think.

I was thinking a web site about the project, but I wasn't real clear on that. As for location It'd be nice if it were in the middle of noware, or close to me

My opinion.
Nascar sucks big wallabie ass, drag racing eats moose knuckle.
Money is good, at least for some people.
If it was me it would be 100 miles of dirt roads, a nice little paved track (with more than two left turnes), a moto cross track, a skatepark, and a roller coaster.

Hey I hate Nascar as much as the next guy that "doesn't" have a mullet and a can of Busch.
I just want a track any track nearby that could be open to the public (namely me).
Oh, and the plan in Yelm is pretty much bunk. Nobody there wants it except like two people. So they're looking elsewhere. Still in the south Puget Sound area though.

oh hell ya! I'm all for a nascar race track, a drag strip, advanced driving school, etc. Bring it on!
There is a drag strip around Seattle or something. My dad used to take me there sometimes as a kid. It'd cost like $50 an adult to get in or something back then. I can't remember now though.

The drag strip in Spokane is alright, but even that attracts some hicks! It is fun to go and watch people run down the track, though.
