i know weight issues would arise that would affect handling but I'm considering a new custom project and am willing to compensate for weight distrabution issues through other means.
is it possible if the rear storage space in a mr2 were eliminated and motor mount fabrcating were done could a hemi fit and if so what kind of transverse tranmission would i need to use probably an audi or a porsce tranny I'm guessing, would the tranny housing need refabricating also?

dude, some things are not suppose to happen, like a hemi in a mr2 :screwy: ... you want a project? try something a little more practical.

ya definatly stick with the rotary MR-2. just think of the oversteer! it would be insane. and the weight of an MR-2 is one of the great things. you dont want to screw with that. stick with the 20b rotary.

Uh... how much money is going to be involved in this. There's going to be soo much customization involved. I just don't see the point.

Are U serious?
Why it would probably cost so much money that it would be a waste.

But Go ahead and post some pics I wanna see this.

If you want to put a bigger engine in it, see if you can fit a 3.8L SFI Turbo. They came in the mid 80s Buick Grand National and 89 Turbo Trans Am. These v6s made great torque and the grand national guys ran 12s quarter mile with few mods. Thats pretty damn fast for a big whore car like that. Imagine an mr2

I would assume the physics wouldnt allow it to perform well. A good project how bout shoving 911 turbo flat six in there!?, shit go for it i would like to see it also

To each, their own.

I think a 13B or 20B charged MKIII MR-Spyder would be interesting....

A few of you have mentioned doing a 20b swap on an MR2. I was wondering if any of you have done any research on it, or if you might know someone who has. Any info is mucho appreciated.
