how do paint over the chrome to match ya car?

Why would you want to paint the chrome on your car the color of your car??

Don't paint it the same color, but instead, de-chrome the trim, spray it matte black...gives the car a sleeker look!:alien:

How do you de-chrome the grill cause i want to paint mine? do you just sand it down or what?
