keyless entry not working on drivers door

Keyless entry whether fob or number pad is making the drivers door make noise and move slightly, but not unlocking. Usually will work if you lock/unlock a number of times. After it not working, you can not use the key, it is like stuck. One of these days I am going to have to crawl in through another door. Anyone had similiar probblem, can I fix or does it have to go to ford.
