Ok, so has anyone removed their starter? I haven't figured out how this bad boy comes out without removing the intake manifold to get to the bolts...
Any help would be great, Thanks.

Is the 92 in the same location as in the 86? On the 86 the starter is on the drivers side. If so you can remove it without having to take the intake off. Get underneath the car and use two stubbie wrenches, I believe they were 9/16. There are two bolts with nuts you are going to have to remove to get the starter out. The bottom bolt and nut is easy see and remove. The bolt and nut on top of the starter is the one that will be a PITA. As you will see(or better yet won't be able to see) that there is no way to get a stubbie wrench on both the bolt and nut. At this point I used a long flat head screwdriver in between the starter and the bellhousing. I did this to keep the bolt from rotating as I loosened the nut with the stubbie wrench, this will have to be done all by feel.. It will take a while but it will eventually come off...:bloated: BTW it does hurt having someone there to help you with the screwdriver.
