I read on some website that the sequel to The Fast And THe Furious is gonna be about SUV's. Anyone else here this, or is it wrong? I hope it's wrong.

Oh dear god, I'd never go see it. Unless I saw them driving around in Lincoln Navigators with 22's and lowered. Thats the only way I'd watch it. But, no the sequel won't be based on this thankfully.

Strong rumors point to Muscle cars.

If you saw the end of the credits, you would have a hint at it.

SUV's????? I suppose it's gunna consist of angry soccermoms trying to get the kids to practice reeeeeeeeeal fast (Hence The Fast ans the Furious), damn we need muscle cars like GT500's etc.

I just watched the credits, I see, I see. I usually never watch movies that far into the credits.

If you watch after all the credits roll by, you get a shot of Baja Mexico, or something. And you see Dominic (Vin Diesel) speeding by in a red Chevelle Super Sport. and you hear the lines "I live my life a quarter mile at a time, for those ten seconds or less, I'm free" or something along the lines of that.

God help us all! The first was enough, we don't need "The Faster and More Furious" I'm sorry to any one out there who liked the movie, but I can't take any more "Nawwws" and Eclipse GSs (that are obviously GSs) trying to be bad ass GSRs. Second of all, I love imports, but I think we should see more of the old muscle cars(If they do make a sequel), lets see more Cudas and such. There was just too much rice attitude envolved with the imports in the movie. Or hell, give the good old R34 some more play time!

I think they were finally phased out last year....but that's one piece of info that I truly can't be bothered researching!

I disagree wit the muscle car crap, imports made the movie hot the Dodge Charger was a car they needed to break up the whole import feel but I can't see the sequel bein hot without imports in it. Watchin them little civis, the RX-7, the Supra, the Jetta, the 240sx all made the movie crazy rather than havin a movie about old muscle cars. Just my opinion disagree if you like:flipa:

what, and 528 ci engines, Superbirds, Challengers GT500's Chevelles, and Corvettes ARENT crazy? Cars that consume 10 gallons per mile and put out more torque than you could thorw a stick at, and usually carburated and N/A arent crazy? I think you're the crazy one here. A muscle car sequel would kick ass.

well, muscle cars are crazy. my favorite car is the Dodge Challenger with the 440 6 pack. 6 barrel, now THAT is crazy.

It was just that there has never been a movie about imports before. most of the famous car movies (most recently, Gone in 60 seconds) featured muscle cars, like the GT500 (Eleanor) in Gone in 60 seconds. If they do the muscle car angle (which it looks like it) they'll have to do some really different with them to make the movie popular.

it should be demolition derby style, and be called the wrecked and the rebuilt. no, it would be really cool if it was about muscle cars. if you go to http://www.speedoptions.com and see some of the hot cars, some were in that movie, and a lot of those cars had no more mods than being chromed, exhuast, intake, and nos.

I feel what your sayin but an all muscle car movie would be boring, without imports the sequel will lack I guarantee it. All my friends love muscle cars I prefer imports there are a few muscle cars I like but you can only show the same muscle cars over and over again until each car starts lookin like the last. I give you that the cars will show more power
but after a while you will get bored. I'm sorry they'll really have to reach hard to make a movie hot with no imports the soul reason the 1st one was hot. And we all know sequels are rarely ever better than the original.:flipa:

Oh god, its true, the second is always worse. They really don't need to make a sequel sence that rule is in effect:eek:

I'd go to see the sequel if it had muscle cars.

and just a note the GT500 in Gone in 60, was not just a regular GT500, it was a GT500KR or King of the Road version. more scoops and power and different suspension than the regular GT500.

Just something I learned.

I was gonna try and find out just how bad the MY02 Rexys drivetrain is but I'd rather read about GT500s

aw it better not be completely about muscle cars...it'd be cool if they combined imports and domestics but the idea that all of them suddenly being into muscle cars would make the movie even cheesier than the first...i approve of suvs too
