Custom.
Mine's very quiet for 2.5" setup, but you could do the same with something smaller even.
Its a Dynomax super turbo muffler (I think I payed $50 cdn.), a 2.5" cat, and a nice long resonator. All bent to look competley stock.. It looks like a stock peashooter, but big piping. :D Its a very quiet setup, and it was cheap. I love it.

I have a Focuz muffler and had the shop weld on 2.5" piping from the cat back and it originally was loud as fuck, and I did not like that. About 2 months ago I got a glasspack (resonator) added into my exhaust and slipped on my silencer and I LOVE how it sounds. Normal driving you can't even tell I have an exhaust, but when you get up there in the rpm's you can hear the wonderful combination of intake and exhaust. I am really happy I got the resonator put in.

Go straight pipe baby. None of that pussy shit. If it isn't at least 3" wide you haven't got shit.
Oh & Resonators Suck. Get a bigger engine.

This guy he's funny he has a 911 (ya right) but anyway his cc's are not much bigger than ours and a 3" exhaust on a 911 with that short of a exhaust system NO BACK PRESSURE = NO POWER. oh well

but stock restricts air flow. the whole point of getting performance exhaust is to get the air flowing out faster

if u want to have a new exahaust thats quiet i would recomend gettin a custom 2 1/4'' downpipe to the same dia over axle pipe then same out to the muffler tip. and with the muffler tip you can get ne size u want to ur choice of sound and looks. i've seen a 4'' tip with a silencer. that will help ur looks and ur sound level.

NO BACK PRESSURE = NO POWER. oh well
our 4 cylinders dont need hardly any backpressure, so a 3in wouldnt be any worse then a 2.5in
