door lock control module???

i was looking through a wiring diagram for my door locks. i noticed a "door lock control module". can anyone tell me what it does??? im pretty sure it has to do with the key fobs. any info is helpful.

just wanted to add one more thing. the wiring diagram i have is from the chiltons repair cd. its a very basic diagram. if anyone by chance had a better one that looks more like a factory diagram, that would be cool. im really not expecting anyone to have one, but i figured it cant hurt to ask.

My diagram says its a Door Lock delay Module, Pin G Power (12v), Pin C lock switch, Pin D unlock sw, Pin H Lock delay relay, Pin F Sliding door sw, pin A ground.

so wut does it actually do???

Can this feature be disabled? I have a 99' Suburban. I hate it that after you start the vehicle, about 8 seconds later all the doors lock. My fiancee` and I are in the process of replacing all 4 door lock actuators. We did 2 last night and will finish tonight.

what is it that you are trying to do??
i would assume you have factory keyless entry...
as far as vbgal goes, is your system a factory one??..e-mail me back as i dont always get a chance to check this site...thks...
