Actually it was so long ago that I don`t remember. :( I am fairly sure it was an Italera kit. I just wanted to build an old Ferarri. I think watching "Ferris Buelers Day Off" was the inspiration. With this one I just sprayed testors gloss red directly over the sanded body with no primer. Of course, several coats of clear followed. I want to get a picture of this engine too, since it was fairly well detailed right out of the box.
