Hello
After searching eBay a little bit, I found 2 corvette kits like I want.
one of them is Monogram's
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1190&item=3188949170&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW#ebayphotohosting

and the other is Revell's
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1190&item=3188967411&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW#ebayphotohosting

Which one will be better? (better queality, more detailed...)

Thank you!

ok.

Is it a good kit? (quality)
I'm an amateur, not a pro (I don't need the best, but neither the worst)

well revell monogram is the same, but revell is a great begginer kit. revell details might be less then a tamiya oy aoshima set but i would say any begginer to start with a revell or monogram kit

I wouldn't say that. Revell/Monogram or AMT are kit that have many problem in fitting (95% of them at least) so for a good start, tamiya is the way to go.. way more easy

i built revell kits for 4 years....they were good...revell kits are easy to build and fin. tamiya are a bit high priced but the details are good. amt sucks! period!! Dont buy amt, the fitment never fits! i have had minor problems with revell kits.

I'm starting to get sick of what it seems like everyone here's bashes AMT, there not friggen Microsoft, they don't have the $$$$ or resorces that Tamiya has to make new tooling. so they have to reissue the kits they got. but, back in the 80's, AMT was by far the best out there. there kits where alot better the MPC, Monogram, or Revell. they've just gotten old.

I'm sorry, but I agree with supermod04. AMT does sux.
The first (and the last till now) kit I built was AMT's. 89' Corvette. It had MANY parts that just didn't fit.
I hope Revell is better.

Thanks for the answers, everyone!

I'm not trying to start anything here but how would you know unless you've tried to build all 95% of them? Surely you can overcome the terrific challenges offered by these kits! I have some Tamiya kits that are kinda lame too; The skills of the builder are what should be considered before tackling any kit. It's just plastic!! :iceslolan I have a lot of AMT kits that are NOT crappy kits. :sunglasse
