Hard start solved

My hard starting began over a year ago. I found the best solution was to crank for 3 seconds, stop and wait 2 seconds, then crank again.
I just replaced my fuel filter (located under the truck on the inside of the frame member just under the driver's seat) because I had a serious lack of power suddenly this past weekend. It was completely clogged and my starting has now returned to normal. I have heard others complain of this symptom. I recommend replacing the filter if you haven't in the last 50K+ miles and your truck is taking longer and longer to start. It only cost $6.00 at Autozone and will only take about 30 minutes to swap out.
