turbo manifold

is it possible to bypass installing a turbocharger without new turbo manifolds? or is it a have to? I don't know much about turbos as you can see. but i'll apreciate it if you let me know A.S.A.P

Nope that is how a turbo works. It takes the exhaust gases from the manifold and forces the air back into the intake manifold and into the engine. Its a little more complicated than that but that is basically it so no you cant. But you can install a supercharger. That is belt driven and alows you do keep your stock manifold or aftermarket header. Why dont you want to get a new manifold for turbo anyways?

that's my question, you can't bolt on a turbo without the manifold. What do you plan on bolting it on to without it?
