I was thinking about a dual Ram Air hood for a Fiero, It would look real nice. does anybody know of a website for a Fiero Ram Air hood, or a hood that fit, or maybe a kit that is just the scoops that you bolt on to the exsisting hood. all info is welcome and greatly appreciated.

Obviously you couldn't put a working ram air hood on a Fiero since there's no simple way of getting the air from the spare tire compartment up front to the engine compartment in back. If you're looking for a real cold air system they do make roof induction kits(don't know where though). If you want the ram air scoops for pure looks only, J C Whitney has a nice selection, you can see it at http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/EndecaCategoryDisplay?catalogId=10101&Ne=100004033&N=111+100004033&langId=-1&tmplframe=EndecaCategoryView§ion=body&storeId=10101&TID=8010222&ss=10101

Having a ram air effect on the front of the hood would work in helping to keep the radiator cool if done correctly. I have seen quite a few designs that do a great job in doing this. As for the engine in back, many have added rear deck scoops, over the roof scoops, deck vent scoops, etc.

I'm not really looking for a functional ram hood. I'm just looking for the look of a ram air hood. Maybe just some mounted pieces that I could mount on. I think that they have the best style and look for what im going at.

They show these on a truck but obviously being generic scoops will go on anything:

would a hood scoop on the rear deck help keep the engine cool? Is there enough low pressure (vacuum) for the rear deck scoop to help any?

I doubt decklid scoops would pick up enough air to do much good - at least on the notchbacks, with a fastback you might have better luck. I was daydreaming at work the other day (ok, so I do it everyday) and thought of mounting high powered 12 volt fans under the vent louvers - blowing outward - to pull out hot air from the engine compartment and in the process pick up cooler air from underneath the car. Crazy, but worth a shot...

I will give it a try because it is only a rear decklid the will be destroyed if it doesn't work.
