Hood scoops

I recently bought a hood scoop for my 91 honda civic dx and wanted to know if anyone has put one on there car. and if so did you cut the hood so as to get the actual use out of it. I'm just worried about getting water in the engine and shit that it might catch in it. Is giving that extra air to the engine going to help me more then hurt me.

i think there trash.. i would sell it or take it back dont use it. i'm not tryin to be a asshole.. thats just my take..

do you have any pics of this hood scoop? it won't help you at all and probably will get water in the engine bay when it rains. and putting a non functional hood scoop on a civic is a bad idea.
