ok this maybe a dumb question but is it normal for one front rim to be much hotter than the other three or do i have a brake problem.

Your front wheels do most of the braking, so it would be normal for your front wheels to be hotter than the back, but if one front wheel is hotter than the other, it's either because of the way your driving, or you may have a brake problem.

For example, if your making alot of left turns and braking etc.., your right wheel would be hotter based on physics and how the weight of your car would transfer, and if you were making alot of right turns your left wheel would be hotter, if your braking as you turn and doing high performance driving, but otherwise it could be a brake problem... im sorry to say
