the last time i did an oil change the oil gauge goes all the way high and stays there and then drops when idle but when I accelerate she goes high again. Any clue sa to what it could be. Second post here. Makes me a noobie I guess hello all

My guage was doing the same thing. It's your oil pressure sensor. All you have to do is order a new one from gm or where ever, and don't pay for them to do it please its so easy. Just get under your car and locate your oil filter and right beside it you'll see your sensor...its got the thing that clips on like all other sensors do....just unclip it, unscrew it(watch out for oil though it got me right on my left shoulder and my engine was hot...not good) then screw the new one in and clip the sensor back on and thats it.
