How do I replace the stock speakers on my 2000 blazer? How do I take off the door panel and do so? Where are the screws/bolts that hold the panel onto the door? Please help, I don't want to pay alot of money for someone else to do them for me.

Most doors are held on by plastic "one way" inserts. There is a door removal tool that looks like a flat fork that works on each one. Or, like I do, use a wide screw driver with a rag to protect the paint. You have to remove any obvious screws (sometimes hidden under plastic inserts near the arm rest). Then, start at the bottom and insert your wide-blade screwdriver and slide till it stops, pry out and you'll hear a "pop" as it loosens. Continue this way all the way around sides and bottom. There's several of them. Once all are loose, the door panel lifts off. Then, you may have to disconnect various wires.

The speakers, at least on my '99, were riverted in. I had to drill the rivets out. Replacement speakers were not hard to do. I may have had to splice wiring connectors or something. Not a hard job - just time consuming to get the old rivets off. My stock speaker had a rip in it; that's why I replaced the two door speakers.
