Hey, Does anybody know where I can download an owner's manual for a 1990 525i ?

Sorry, John, but I'm clueless. I'd bet you could find one on eBay for a couple of bucks. What are you trying to figure out? The secret combinations to make the heating/cooling work?
There are only six combinations!
