Hiya all.. looking for a bit of advice.
I recently purchased an engine to replace the one in my 96 Cavalier and was assured that it was the same. The replacement has no camshaft sensor... will this work? Is there any work arounds for this if it doesnt? Could I swap out the computer from the car this was in maybe as a last resort?
Any help would be great thanks

Some engines have only a crank sensor. Depends on your ignition/injector setup.
Is the engine the same displacement/year/type as your original one?
If not, you will need the ECM out of the donor car.
Your car's ECM will be looking for that cam position sensor signal and not finding it-it will prolly not run or at least throw a constant "no cam sensor signal" code.
