has anyone put somewhat aggressive 33's or 35's on thier stock rims on a 2000 body style z71. i like the stock rims, but don't know if they would look good with a lift and aggressive tires and ive never seen it done. Also if anyone knows of a nice brand of rims or tires that you dont have to spend a fortune on id like to hear from you.

Thanks fellas (and ladies)

american eagle has some nice rims and the prices are reasonable. I'm not sure about putting 33/35 's on stock wheel. wheel is only 7 inches wide and I'm thinking you will need atleast an 8 inch wheel for 12.50's If you go with a tall but narrow tire it might work. I know BF makes a 33x9.5 in the all terrain and I think super swampwe offers a similiar size in a couple of their patterns.

i have been looking at the american racing rims, i think thats most likely what ill do because like you said, i would probably have to go more narrow than i want to on stock wheels.

You will defenatly want some wider wheels. I had my 35X12.50s on 8s for a couple years. I kept wearing the middle of the tires out because the wheels werent wide enough. I now run 10s with my 35s.
