I got the new convertible body last night. It's in even better shape than I thought. So far I have just swapped out the front suspension...

you should also make a thread as to what you need for parts, and what to do with the swap.

I'm working on a full picture "instruction manual" right now as I do the swap. It should be up in a month or so after I finish everything. It will be available at http://www.teamswift.net/~geozukigti when it is finished

i met a guy the other day with a 91 metro convert with the swift motor in it. he was explaning a little to me. he didnt do tha all wheel disc and stuff he just put the motor and transmission (with the front end parts needed) and did it all in a weekend. he made it actually seem alot easier then i first imagine. i do want to put in the swift motor and all wheel disc now, i just need to find a gti :)

It's not much work at all if you do the basic swap. I'm doin a lot of other stuff to it too. Minus the rear discs for now. The website is up now tho, with the current pics, and the painted interior parts. Krylon Fusion paint is the best!!!

haha just checked out your homepage, at least its somewhat up!! one thing that i thought was funny is the oil filter on your old car, looks just like a valvoline filter, a VO25 to be exact haha. i work for valvoline which is why it caught my eye. lol sad huh.

Lol, yep. It is a valvoline. I change it myself at the valvoline shop I used to work at. I did the 3 step intake cleaning on it too. Good stuff!!
