Please god someone help me!

Okay, here's whats going on..........last night I came home and parked my car. There were no problems at that time. This morning I went out to my car to go somewhere and the battery was dead. No prob...went and got another battery. Just put it in about 45 minutes ago and now the car has a "service engine soon" light on and the idle drops a few hundred rpm every 10-15 seconds. The engine sputters and makes the whole car shake constantly. Please help me asap!

Go to an auto parts store, and have them pull the code from the ECU.

Will any auto part store do that? ie....Kragen, Autozone, Napa?

Autozone has the code readers around here. I don't THINK Napa does, but I might be wrong.

just to let you know, autozone will do this no charge, but they will usually only give you the code name and basic discription you might have to read more in to the code yourself, if you don't understand the description, let us know. good luck

Went to autozone last night. They let me borrow their code reader. The code I got was P0201......injector circuit malfunction cylinder 1. I unplugged the injector and played with it a little, then plugged it back in. Started up the car and everything was back to normal. I'll probably still run some techron fuel system treatment just in case. I don't think the injectors have ever been cleaned or replaced anyway. Thanks a lot for your help guys. :biggrin:
