upper balljoint removal

Anyone know how to pop out upper ball joint on a 1980 ram I have it unthreaded but need to know how to pop it out

Use a BFH LOL!

if it won't come out after you unscrewed it a BFH (that's a Big Fat(ha!) Hammer) should pop it out, or the ball joint housing is out of round, or the control arm is bent. Check these. It's cheaper to replace the control arm and the ball joint than doing the job twice when it won't align...! You sure it's bad? or is it the control arm bushings.... or the center link and coupler disease?
