Difference in block strength

I am building my third turbo MR2 motor, and unfortunately I wasn't able to source a 3SGTE block for this build up. And I am planning to base this motor on a 3SGE block. Does anybody know for sure if there are any differences between the two blocks? I was told by a reputable tuner in Japan that they are the same but I am still looking for further advice or doubts.

I am situated in Malta,Europe and these engines here are very rare. So it was impossible to source a 3SGTE block. This engine should be able to withstand a fair ammount of abuse since I am planning to run in the 11s bracket. I have all the upgraded components ready on the shelves, minus a block, so any help on this will be really appreciated.

the 3sge block will handle boost with no problem, you just need strong internals i.e. forged pistons, rods, etc.a friend of mine turboed his 3sge and runs high 11's at 25psi
